The Skirt That Flatters Everyone

I LOVE the tulle skirt trend!!! The best part of it is that it also flatters all body types. Every little girl has had a tulle skirt/dress at some point and now it is all grown up as a great staple in your closet. What I love about them is that you can dress it up or down, mix and match so many things with it. Add some jewel stones, make it midi, short, or long. Here are some great examples of how you can do it… and I added one of my sister. It is so fun, flirty, and whimsical. Try it! #tulleskirts #trendy

Overalls!!!

This is one recycled trend that I love. Overalls!!! Designers have revamped this old old school trend and brought it back to life by making them more tapered to the body and a few tears here and there. This way when you wear it you won’t look bigger than you are. I never cared for overalls until now. I have been trying to find one that fits my hips and buttocks and that would be flattering for my body type for almost a year now, and I have FINALLY found it!!! I snagged this one at TJMaxx and I’m super excited! This is in a darker wash that allows me to look slimmer. What I love about them the most is that you can dress them up now and wear it with your most stylish heels and look very sexy! Try one next time you are shopping. Ciao!

Fine Wine

Like the drink itself, sangria pieces are intoxicating and give any skin tone a celebratory glow. Wine is a great color for the fall. However, you can try it with these colors, midnight blue and mustard, in order to get a fresher look. Try it next time you get dressed.

It’s that time again already fashionistas! Fall begins on September 22, 2014, however, school starts very soon. Remembering my teaching days, I wanted to give my fellow teachers some stylish ways to update their look for the new school year. Some of these outfit ideas can inspire high school and college students as well. Here are 5 styles trending for fall. You can incorporate some of these in your wardrobe.

Matchy-Matchy Sets

Well, this is one way to make getting dressed in the morning way easier! Try your hand at tops and bottoms that are made for each other and shave a few minutes off your A.M. routine.

Leopard

Much like plaid, this evergreen trend has showed up everywhere on the runways. What’s interesting though is the ultra-feminine take on it. Ladylike silhouettes breathe life into the leopard trend. Love those flats!

Orange

In addition to blue, orange is another hot color for the season. But before you say “not for me,” know that there are different shades for every skin tone—from juicy, bold brights to subdued, muted hues.

Animal Accents

Swans and puppies and foxes, oh my! This season, designers took a walk on the wild side, incorporating animal motifs into their collections. Wear an allover-print frock or a simple bird-embossed piece—it’s up to you!
